To make movements of passengers between buildings easy and fast, the new terminal and the satellite will be connected by way of an intra –terminal automated people mover (APM-INTRA).
A modern passenger transport system equipped with 6 automated driverless vehicles that will run in an underground airport service tunnel, at a maximum speed of 60km/hour, to transport up to 20.000 passengers per hour between the new Terminal and Satellite buildings in little over 3 minutes with trains coming as frequently as every 2 minutes during peak hours.
The APM will operate 24 hours a day and it will cover 2.100 meters between the stations.
