The city bus network in Madrid has almost 180 lines that run from 6.00 am to 11.30pm. The night service or Buho connects the city center to the peripheral areas until the day services begin to run. The Metrobus is a ticket that can be used on both the Metro and the bus.
There are also different types of monthly passes which can be used for both means of transportation, as well as the suburban trains and inter city buses. Madrid has more than two hundred intercity bus lines, which leave from 21 different interchange bus terminals of the city, which gives the user many possibilities for quick and confortable travelling.

There are double-deckers sights seeing buses for touring around the city. Each bus has a sound system with eight different languages. The buses are air-conditioned and have pushback seats.
